Complaints Handling Procedure

At Genesis Insurance, we are dedicated to delivering excellent customer experiences. Our complaint handling policy ensures that every complaint is thoroughly investigated and resolved in a fair and transparent manner.

In the event of receiving a complaint, the following procedure is followed by the company.

Procedure Overview:

Complaint Registration:

  • Complaints received via email, website, letters, telephone calls, or personal visits are logged and registered promptly.

  • Email for complaints: claims@genesisinsuranceuae.com

  • Address for correspondence: 1304-1305 Al Shafar Tower 1, Barsha Heights, Dubai, UAE.

Acknowledgement:

  • Every complaint will be acknowledged within 2 working days of receipt.

Investigation and Assignment:

  • Complaints are assigned to the respective departments (Health, motor, general and life) for investigation and resolution.

Review and Additional Information:

  • The Complaints Department reviews each complaint. If necessary, additional information or documents may be requested from the complainant.

Response from Insurance Company:

  • The complaint is forwarded to the respective insurance company for their response within 2 working days.

Resolution:

  • If the complaint is resolved, we inform the complainant and record their feedback.

Escalation Process:

  • If the complaint remains unresolved, it will be escalated:

    1. First escalation: To the respective Business Relationship Manager (BBRM) or Manager of the insurance company.

    2. Second escalation: To the Head of Department (HOD) or General Manager (GM) of Genesis Insurance.

Health insurance/DHIC complaints:

Health Insurance compliance and audit log (HICAL) is considered the official complaint portal to report any fraud, waste or abuse cases as well as non compliance to DHIC Circulars and regulations. You can report the same on the below mentioned link:

Complaint Appeal Process:

If you have followed the above steps and are still not satisfied with the resolution:

You may escalate your complaint to the regulators for further review:

  1. Central Bank of the UAE (CBUAE)
  2. Dubai Health Authority (DHA)
